Ilika Technologies Ltd. Is searching for new materials which will enable hydrogen to be stored in solid state metal hydrides. The image shows arrays of micro-heaters, each only a few millimetres across, which heat small samples of metal hydrides in order to measure their hydrogen storage capacity.
