Emerging technologies and industries

The Technology Strategy Board’s vision is to make the emerging technologies of today the growth sectors of tomorrow.

To achieve this, we are developing a new strategy to accelerate the development and commercialisation of early stage, radical technologies.

A wide consultation is underway to inform this strategy and how best the Technology Strategy Board can add value in partnership with others. We are gaining useful learning from an earlier initiative on scoping the market and technology potential of Quantum Technologies.

We aim to have the strategy in place by April 2008 and identify future areas for investment and support thereafter.
