ENIAC Joint Undertaking: Advanced Research and Technology for Embedded Intelligence and Systems

The ENIAC Joint Undertaking [JU] Programme is a European Commission Joint Technology Initiative managed centrally by the European Commission and supported by individual participating States. ENIAC JU is coordinated in the UK by the Technology Strategy Board.

Selected projects will be co-financed by the ENIAC JU and the EU Member States. UK participants in selected projects are funded through the Technology Strategy Board and the ENIAC JU.

The ENIAC JTI programme is well aligned to the UK's strengths and strategic priorities. By bringing its global excellence in electronics and software design to bear on platform technologies, industrial growth will be enabled in sectors as diverse as transport, entertainment and healthcare.

 

UK Eligibility Summary 2011

FIRST 2011 call

UK participants are eligible for funding from the Technology Strategy Board and the ENIAC JU.  The deadline for submission of Full Project

Proposals was 16th June 2011.

SECOND 2011 call

The Technology Strategy Board will be using the residual funds from the first 2011 ENIAC call to fund projects for the second ENIAC 2011 call,   The total UK budget  for the second ENIAC call in 2011 is €160,000.

UK partners are also eligible for the ENIAC JU 16.7% grant on eligible costs.
