The Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE) is the Ministry of Defence's gateway for UK science and technology for industry, academia and innovators with ideas with the potential to substantially improve UK Armed Forces capability.

This CDE SBRI call is for research proposals to enhance innovation in Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR). Specific challenges are:

New technologies for RADAR Electronic SurveillanceExploitation of the URDC Signal Processing ProgrammeISTAR Concepts and Solutions: Tranche 2 –ISTAR support to Urban Operations

The competition will launch at a presentation and networking event at Bristol on Tuesday 7th February 2012. The event will also provide the opportunity to question leading military and technical experts from the centre and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory.

The brief will be available after the seminar on 7 February.
