Technology Strategy Board is seeking expressions of interest from organisations that might lead, or form part of, a new technology and innovation centre for offshore renewable energy. The aim of the centre will be to increase UK wealth by enabling more effective commercialisation of technologies that have direct relevance to this rapidly growing global industry.

The centre will be based in the UK and support the development and commercialisation of technologies relevant to offshore renewable energy. It will stimulate innovation, accelerate growth and anchor high-value development in the UK.

We would like to hear from you if your organisation: is capable of leading this centre or if you would like to form part of this centre by providing access to a capability that will contribute to the centre meeting its objectives.

The deadline to register expressions of interest is noon 25 August 2011 and final submissions must be in by noon 1 September 2011.
