The Technology Strategy Board is launching a £9m competition as part of the Integrated Delivery Programme, with up to £1m aimed at feasibility studies and up to £8m aimed at collaborative research and development
This scope document covers feasibility studies in highly innovative, vehicle-centric, industry-led projects. We are targeting disruptive technology and research that challenges current conventions from a position of intellectual strength, exploring new boundaries or adapting novel technologies to an entirely different field.
Projects may be collaborative or carried out by a single company. Project costs are expected to be no more than £100k in total, attracting funding of up to £75k.
We intend to run a further competition in 2012 aligned to this activity to create an opportunity for follow on funding.
A networking event to facilitate consortia building for this competition is being organised by the Transport Knowledge Transfer Network, at the University of Warwick on 3 February 2011.
