The Technology Strategy Board is to invest £5m in designing strategies for climate change adaptation for new and existing buildings. Successful applicants will receive contracts to carry out additional design work on current building projects, to design strategies for robustness and adaptation to climate change over the commercial lifetime of the building. This competition will overcome market failures in adapting building designs to the future climate and produce a wealth of knowledge to support the industry.
