• Met the Chairs of KTNs to discuss the Technology Strategy Board KTN programme and other innovation issues.

27^th Meeting, March 2011, London. The Board:

• Met Sir Adrian Smith and discussed the role of the Technology Strategy Board in driving forward innovation policy.
• Agreed to move ahead with planning for Innovate 2011
• Discussed the launch of the Grant for R&D programme
• Agreed next steps in the development of the technology and innovation centres programme
• Discussed the findings of the independent evaluation of the Collaborative R&D grants programme
• Agreed the content of the forthcoming Strategic Plan
